As a part of “Broad Approach (BA) activity in collaboration with EU, the National Institute for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology (QST) has been conducting the JT-60SA project, which is to remodel the fusion plasma experimental facility, the JT-60 Tokamak superconductive. We have organized the JT-60SA project support team to provide technical support in the construction etc. Moreover, we have been providing our technical assistance for the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) project at home and abroad [Naka Office], and for IFMIF/EVEDA (Engineering Validation and Engineering Design Activities for the International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility) project, which has been carried out as a BA activity in Rokkasho.

Shaping the future with advanced energy.
