Fusion Energy Department
We provide technical support for the operation, maintenance, and research and development of the nuclear fusion critical plasma test device (JT-60SA) completed at the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology (QST) Naka Fusion Institute. Currently, efforts are underway to enhance the performance of the device through a power increase plan, and our company is actively involved in providing technical support for this plan. Additionally, we offer technical support for testing research and other activities related to procuring equipment for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). [Naka Site]
The QST Rokkasho Fusion Energy Research Institute is a research institution conducting research and development on nuclear fusion, aiming for the realization of a nuclear fusion prototype reactor through Japan-Europe collaboration. Our company provides technical support for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the prototype accelerator (deuteron linear accelerator) for the International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility (IFMIF) and for the research and development of the “blanket” for the fusion reactor elements.
